South Georgia's Finest Wingshooting Plantation
Located just outside of Alapaha in the heart of South Georgia, the hunting experience here at Palmetto Plantation is one that rivals any other. We are blessed to be located in an area with an abundance of wild quail habitat and beautiful pine forest terrain. This is truly southern wingshooting at its finest. We also offer seasonal deer and turkey hunting trips. Sporting clays coming in Fall 2010!

The Hunting Dogs
Our hunting dogs are thoroughly trained, and each of our pointers is Elhew bred, coming from a long line of hunting dogs beginning in the 1930's.

The Palmetto Plantation Lodge
For our multi-day hunters, we offer a large, 3000 sq. ft. lodge that sits on a beautiful 120 acre lake just 5 miles from the plantation. The lodge has a full kitchen, large screened front porch overlooking the lake, big screen tv's, a hot tub with a great view of the lake, and sleeps up to 6 comfortably for those hunting in groups!
